Work/Home Video

Here is a short clip of the building I work in. The school is called JLS: Jeus Language School. The narrow building across the street is where I live. It is known here has the "Dahun Art Room".

The building a bit to the left of the Dahun Art Room is a Kia Motors dealership. I am in that building right now. On the 5th floor is a PC room, known as a PC bahng. Here, kids and adults come to play all kinds of online video games on computers while smoking and drinking coffee. This place is open 24 hours a day. People play lots of Star Craft. The game is so popular that you can watch matches on TV.

Suprise! Real Body = Dead People

I went to see a strange exhibit the other day called "Suprise! Real Body". It is similar to the famous "Body Worlds" by the controversial German artist Gunther von Hagens. The exhibit features dead bodies put through a process of "plastination" by replacing the natural body fluids with solid plastic. The process preserves tissues enabling the corpse and the organs to be displayed. I wasn't allowed take pictures but I snuck a few quick ones.

Haeundae Beach in January

It's January, the coldest month of the year. We've had a few cold days so far, but nothing compared to Canada. Today, the temperature is around +5C. Last week, I even visited the beach. Here are a few clips.

Nighttime in Korea

The nighttime scenery around Busan is remarkable. Neon signs are everywhere. It’s almost seizure inducing. Here are a few shots and videos of places around the city at night.
This crowded street is near Pusan National University.
Street vendors in Nampo-dong.

Narow streets in Nampo-dong.

Another shot of Nampo-dong.

Here are some typical apartment buildings korean families live in.

This is an actual police station. I love the cute "Mighty Mouse" figure they have as their logo.

There are many amusement parks people can visit at night, like this one near Gwangan.
Here are some short videos of around Hadan:
